Jelle Dhaene is post-doctoral researcher at Ghent University, working on a joint project with UPPA, financed by Total. His main focus is on simulating the physical processes underlying X-ray Computed Tomography (CT) and simulating the complete CT acquisition process. The understanding of these processes leads to optimising the CT process for academic and industrial purposes. Currently he is using these simulation tools to improve Dual Energy CT acquisition and reconstruction methods. |
